Supervised Training
Should you be under the age of 16, then it is important that an adult knows exactly what you are doing in your training. Please make sure that an appropriate adult reads this section carefully and monitors your activity throughout. Should you be unsure about yours or your child’s own readiness to undertake any of the activities within this training program, it is of our recommendation that you consult a doctor before you begin.
Most of the activities included are designed for the purpose of improving performance and reducing potential of injury. When performed correctly, this platform will become a valuable tool in keeping you fit, sharp and injury free.
- All exercises within this training guide should be carried out with care and caution:
- • During any training, an appropriate adult may be required to provide support with some of the language and interpretations of exercises and techniques.

- • It is the duty of an appropriate adult to ensure that the person carrying out any of our training, performs only the exercises provided and does so safely, as failing to do so may result in accident, injury or even death.
- • Study and research have identified that when prescribed and performed correctly, strength training is safe for juniors and can positively impact on their physical development. .
- • Under the guidance of the Appropriate Plyometric Volumes Table 18.4 in the Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning, we recommend that no more than the prescribed sets and reps are performed in any given session or program. Should at any point the participant experience any pain or discomfort, they should stop immediately and seek medical advice.
